Application：Lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) plays an important regulatory role in synaptic neurotransmission and plasticity. The synthesis of LPA in the brain depends on its precursor, lysophosphatidylcholine (LPC), which is mainly secreted by the liver and enters the brain through the blood-brain barrier after activation. LPA regulates glutamate release by activating presynaptic LPA2 receptors, which ultimately regulates neuronal excitability.
